The Locally Lambton Dinner held on November 5, 2008 was a huge success. The food on the buffet was excellent and really showed off the cooking talents of Norm Piquette and his staff at Norm Piquette Catering.
In the photo above, is Bill Duffield from the Lambton Sheep Producers who donated two grade A lambs for the buffet. Bill is at the 12 foot venetian creme cake that Norm baked especially for the dinner. I will publish a photo shortly of Norm replenishing the beef sirloin tip on the 32 foot buffet table.
Special thanks to everybody who contributed to the Locally Lambton Dinner; an event we hope will be an annual fundraiser and opportunity to show off the world class food grown and raised right here in Lambton County. The United Way raised over $14,000 from the event.
